These sandals are made entirely from Novalon, an innovative blend of elasto-polymers designed to deliver exceptional cushioning, rebound and elasticity. The material absorbs shocks as you walk while retaining its shape, so the footbed won’t flatten out with use. Novalon is heat reactive, so as it warms it gently conforms to the shape of your foot for an elevated level of comfort—ideal for everyday wear and travel-friendly packing.
Arch Support
A contoured, orthotic-grade footbed provides excellent medial arch and metatarsal support, paired with a subtle heel rocker to help offload pressure. This combination creates a supportive, cushioned sandal that can help offer relief from foot pain and common ailments, including plantar fasciitis. While not a cure, the ergonomic design helps reduce strain and improves comfort for long days on your feet.
Aftercare
Fully waterproof and non-porous, these slides will float and are simple to clean—safe for machine washing up to 30°C. Because Novalon is heat reactive, avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 50°C to prevent shrinking.
The American Dream
The story began in the spring of 1920 when 16-year-old Francisco Azzarito arrived at Ellis Island from Sant'Agata Di Piglia to follow his father's trade as a cobbler. Adopting the name "Frank," he settled in Brooklyn, NY, and built a lifetime in shoemaking, eventually becoming factory foreman at a major shoe company. Two generations later his grandson, Rocco, realized the family dream by founding the company that brought these comfortable, supportive sandals to life. These lightweight, durable slides combine medical-grade comfort with easy-care practicality—perfect as everyday footwear, post-workout recovery sandals, or travel companions.
